The cafe is located on a corner lot. There is non metered street parking surrounding the cafe.
The event is confirmed once Classy Hippie Co. receives and acknowledges the nonrefundable deposit payment.
Non-Refundable Deposits: We require a nonrefundable deposit of $125 to secure any function or event catering. This amount will be deducted from the total amount owed. The outstanding balance must be paid 7 days prior to the event date, otherwise, Classy Hippie Co. reserves its rights to proceed with the cancellation of your event.
Classy Hippie Co. will end the event at the contracted time. During the event, if a request to extend the event’s end time is made, Classy Hippie Co. charges $295 per extended hour. Payment is required immediately.
Access to the cafe will be available 30 minutes before the start time of your event. If additional set-up time is needed, you can purchase 30-minute intervals at your hourly rate.
Yes! Décor must be professional in nature, meet with City of Sacramento fire codes and signage may not be handwritten (directional or otherwise). We do not allow silk flower petals, silly string, confetti, rice, glitter in any form, bird seed, foam peanuts or other similar items or we will impose an automatic one hundred fifty ($150) dollar cleaning fee if these items are used. Anything left by guests will be considered a donation or thrown away.
To prevent damage to our fixtures and furnishings, no items may be attached to walls, floor, ceilings, chairs, windows, etc. with nails, tape, pins, staples or any other substances. At your own risk, you are welcome to use fresh rose petals and soap bubbles, but please use sparingly due to the slippery nature of these items. If helium/foil balloons are used, they must be properly weighted and completely removed after the event or a one hundred fifty ($150) dollar removal fee will be charged.
Unless contracted otherwise all event decorations and signage are the clients responsibility and must be approved by Classy Hippie Co. coordinator . Candles are permitted but must be kept in containers that will catch all wax. Any damages caused by flame or candle spills will require the client to reimburse Classy Hippie Co. the cost of the reimbursement or replacement. Classy Hippie Co. reserves the right to determine safe and unsafe candle use at the facility.
Please do not use any Classy Hippie Co. equipment or office supplies for decorating or cleaning. It is the client's responsibility to make sure everyone involved in the event is aware of these restrictions. All items brought to your event must be removed immediately following the conclusion of the event. Classy Hippie Co. assumes no responsibility for the use of the above mentioned items and is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten or damaged items.
Special engineering, audio visual and staging requirements must be arranged with Classy Hippie Co. at least 7 days in advance. We have a small sound system and TV available for your use. We are happy to assist you. However, Classy Hippie Co. will not be held liable for any malfunctions or “mistakes” during the event. We suggest you hire a professional dj/musician.
Classy Hippie Co. will also not be held responsible for any technical issues with slide-shows, ceremony music, or videos. Your DJs/Bands may be asked to control their decibel levels and Classy Hippie Co. at its sole and absolute discretion may demand that any music played at a level acceptable to Classy Hippie Co.
Vendors are welcome! Classy Hippie Co. is to be held harmless from any and all claims or personal damages resulting from the vendor's use of the facility including, but not limited to; lost or stolen items, personal property damage or loss, personal injury or accidents (including traveling to or from the facility).
Classy Hippie Co. will not accept responsibility for the delivery and set-up from your vendor for items, such as fresh flowers or cakes.
Classy Hippie Tea Co. bases the number of employees, food and drinks needed for your event upon the number of participants listed in the contract. For unplanned participants, entry may not be available due to the venue and or supplies capacity limitations.

For the Café w/Drinks & Pastries and Café with Full Menu rental options, with the exception of a celebration cake or party favors, all food must be provided by Classy Hippie Co.
In compliance with the laws set forth in the State of California, Classy Hippie Co. maintains a smoke free environment. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside of the building. Please use proper etiquette in disposing of your cigarettes and/or cigars.
The cafe is licensed to sell and or serve alcohol! Please read our Terms below.
Alcohol: Excluding the Café only rental option, no alcohol or non-alcohol beverages may be brought onto the premises by your guests. If any outside alcohol is discovered, it will be immediately confiscated and guests may be asked to leave. A $100 fine may be imposed on the responsible party if the issue is not immediately resolved and your event will be immediately ended if outside alcohol is discovered.
No persons under 21 or without a valid ID will be served. A wristband must be acquired by all guests who are under 21 years old. Any guest providing alcohol to a minor will be required to leave the grounds immediately.
Classy Hippie Co. reserve the right to refuse service on the following grounds:
If alcohol use becomes problematic, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate the bar service or the event due to a breach of contract.
We understand that plans can change, and we are committed to working with our clients to accommodate any changes to their functions and/or events. However, to provide the best possible service and to protect the investments we make in our events, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Notice Period: All cancellations must be made in writing and received by Classy Hippie Co. no later than 2 weeks before the event date.
Cancellations and Amendments: If any changes, reschedules or cancellations are required, our preferred method of contact is via email - ClassyHippieEvents@gmail.com. All changes and amendments need to be made and approved 1 week before your event date. Last-minute changes and modifications may incur a fee.
Liability: Classy Hippie Co. shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if such failure is due to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond its control.
